Pub-Sub: A Market-Driven Aquatic Ecosystem – This immersive installation juxtaposes a living fish with two inanimate sculptures representing the master-servant dichotomy. The aquatic environment’s vitality hinges on real-time stock market data; the ebb and flow of trading, symbolized by color changes from green (gains) to red (losses), dictate the rhythm of oxygen supply within the tank. This system serves as a metaphor for the influence of economic trends on the dynamics of power and survival, with the title ‘Pub Sub’ hinting at the publish-subscribe pattern of message-based communication, aptly reflecting the continuous exchange of information that fuels both our ecosystems and economies.
